Advanced players looking to go pro should be dedicated, committed and be prepared to sacrifice. The practice time per week should be around 20 to 25 hours and the strength and conditioning comprising of cardio, speed, strength and flexibility should take up another 8 to 10 hours per week. Practice sessions should be a combination of specific intense drill work and match play sessions and all court time should be quality.
Athletes should always strive for their practice sessions to better than the one before and always give 100 percent effort to everything. All players should strive to be the best and quickest athlete they can be, footwork and speed being a key factor in performance.
